Warrnambool Produce and Craft Market

HI everyone, my name is Rachel, I am an Educator with Family Day Care in Warrnambool, own La Vie En Creperie- a local crepe stall, I am a mother of one very boiterous but lovable teenager and I am also a student. I love to be involved in my local community and support some of our great local causes.

 

In October 2012 I started a small community market on the Civic Green but with our dates often clashing with their events, I have finally found us a permanent place to call home on Swan Reserve, Raglan Parade, with thanks from our local council.

This is our main highway.

 

Beginning with monthly, I have now been trying to establish this as fortnightly in the hopes it will become popular enough to run weekly with local fresh produce, arts and crafts, a hub meeting place for locals and visitors alike, and encourage them to walk up the main street of town and visit our fabulous shops and services.

 

It has been a huge task I have undertaken, a lot more than I could have imagined, but my goal has remained the same; a community market raising funds and awareness for local groups and organisations with fresh home grown produce and home made goods and wares.

 

We set up in October of 2012 focused on an open air style market to grow and fluctuate with the tourist season and support our local community.

 

We hope to see this grow from strength to strength and look forward to welcoming you, either as a stall holder or customer.
