Having missed this market last month after driving down from Echuca for it and finding it wasn't on at all. After driving straight over from Bendigo on April 6th (after checking the organisers' website to confirm date) we were taken aback to find the venue, Queens Park, devoid of even a tent!. Fortunately the Info Centre was across the street and the lady informed us that it had been moved, for today, to the showgrounds, in conjunction with a motor show. So, we were soon strolling in through the gates (less $2 each, fair enough..)
Possibly about 30 -40 stalls spread well out but overall nothing to earn it more than a few stars. To be fair we think it ought to be revisited at the Gardens venue and see if the quality and number of vendors is better.

It definitely pays to research the ‘net for the latest info on any market you are travelling afield for, we have found out the hard way what can happen if you don’t.. no market!
