Having been down to Lake Weroona last year and finding this market booming we once again went to see how it is faring.
As it is run in conjunction with other city of greater Bendigo activities on this special day it naturally is patronised by a great many, notably nearly everyone with a child, or more.
In the market itself there would be about 50-60 stalls, mostly craft but with clothing and other speciality stalls in abundance.
As well there were a dozen or so collections of older cars and free entertainment galore.
FREE seems to be the operative word on this day although plenty of refreshment vendors willing to sell you something special.
Definitely worth coming to Bendigo for the day if that is practical, and the weather is likely to be sunny and warm, but hopefully not hot.
