 Trash 'n Treasure galore, 07-03-2014

By: CMVMal

Review:
This market is quite large and is pretty well 75% trash ‘n treasure, and most of that clearly first offering (not just bought from someone else and being resold on purpose). A good showing of local craft and cooking, some garden plants etc. The whole market has a lovely rustic atmosphere and if you are into harness racing you can go sit trackside and watch some practice racing, complete with commentary, while you sip a cuppa or coffee and munch on some homemade treats or hot foods at the Lions Club’s Kiosk.. The March 2014 market appeared to about 60 stalls and would, at prime times, have a great deal more. A great market for fossicking, prices were generally quite low.
This would have to be one of the most spacious market venues in the region. Then, if you have started early enough, take in the Ballarat Showgrounds market and then the Buninyong Town Hall market. Check www.countrymarketsvic.com for all your market planning info.
