Ivanhoe Makers Market Ivanhoe Makers Market is supported and administrated by the Livingstone Community Centre (a ministry of the Ivanhoe Baptist Church) in Ivanhoe and is a registered Neighbourhood House within the Banyule City Council. The market provides an outlet "North of the Yarra" for local crafted artists and designers to display unique handmade quality wares available for purchase and offers cultural opportunities for the community. In addition, the market has introduced several fair trade stalls which support various disadvantaged communities around the world. The market plans to introduce more faritrade stalls in the future, possibly on a rotating basis. The market also supports community organizations with fundraising by offering them a free stall. The market is held indoors in the beautiful Livingstone Community Centre and is close to the Ivanhoe Railway Station and the main Ivanhoe shopping strip full of great places to have coffee and lunch. Our stallholders are very friendly and welcoming so pop in and say hello. A variety of stalls offer a wide selection of unique handmade quality wares ideal for that special gift for family, friends or yourself. You'll find a variety of different jewellery, greeting cards, notebooks and diaries, fashion accessories and home furnishings, wooden and hand knitted items, ceramic brooches and Australian animals, decorative tiles, glassware, skincare, chutneys, jams, spices, soft toys, heat packs, candles, soaps, Christmas cakes, and more.
