 Clifton Hill Primary School Fair If you’re looking for a fun filled family day out AND the chance to get a jump on your Christmas shopping then look no further. The community has pulled together again this year for a fantastic Clifton Hill Primary School Fair on Saturday 21st November.
We’ve got our popular carnival games, rides, farm animals and the amazing face painting crew. Our live entertainment stage will showcase school talent, we’ve got a lunchtime jazz session plus local indie covers band the Bin Night Romeos return to headline. If that doesn’t get you dancing, this year we will also be (quietly) throwing some shapes with a Silent Disco.
Bargain hunters are spoilt for choice this year: there’s an amazing craft stall full of decorations, toys and jewellery, the plant stall will be blooming great and there’s plenty to hunt through at Trash & Treasure, second hand toys, clothes, music and books. People have been known to travel interstate for our huge silent auction - it’s just that good, thanks to all the fabulous donations from the community and beyond.
The Gold Street Fair is famous for its food, being located only minutes from the Fitzroy and Collingwood foodie hubs the gourmet grub on offer reflects the quality and choice of food in the local area. This year, among others, we have The Super Sizzle BBQ, baked potatoes and fresh spanikopita, Asian delights and woodfired pizzas. For sweet lovers there's Italian handmade gelato from Cavallini, Dutch pancakes, our classic scones with fresh strawberries and cream, plus homemade cakes and an epic lolly stall. Wash it all down with something from the coffee cart, the bar or maybe the dedicated daiquiri stand! And of course, it wouldn’t be a fair without fairy floss and sno cones.
The Clifton Hill Primary School Fair is organised and run by parent volunteers with the support of local businesses. This year we are raising funds to upgrade the art room and IT facilities.
