We visited this market on April 13th in conjunction to a follow up (afterwards) to the Maldon Market.
It's pretty clear that this market has suffered somewhat from the advent of the Maldon market being held on the same days. This shouldn't really matter much since both markets are quite different than the other, chalk and cheese so to speak. If someone could publicise both as a double feature it could be good for Dunolly, but probably of little impact on Maldon since it has the tourist town added features behind it.
Regardless, we found Dunolly interesting if only that the market is laid out along the main street (really the ONLY street) and is sometimes a street stall in front of an open for business shop. Probably the only town we have seen where the butcher stays open for the market day!. There was about 20 stalls of collectables, craft, homemade foods and artworks. it is certainly worth a short visit on the way to somewhere.
