Cockatoo is nestled in a valley between Emerald & Gembrook, a proud and friendly little town where the Cockatoo Country Market is held monthly. We have a variety of artisan wares including local produce, preserves, honey, cheese, plants, tools, pet products, leather goods, woodcraft, candles, skincare, homewares, and craft. Most goods are made, produced or grown by the stallholders.

We have great coffee, a community fundraising BBQ and delicious hot food. 

There is beautiful open space parkland with the Cockatoo Creek running along side, and Puffing Billy runs through the centre of town - you will hear his whistle blowing!

In the event of days of extreme or catastrophic fire warnings for Central District the market will be cancelled.

Proceeds from the market are made available to not for profit community groups in Cockatoo in the form of Community Support Grants.

Also our times are now 8.30am-1.30pm.
