This market is run by a bunch of guys that sit on there ass drinking coffee. As a stall holder when you need them and ring. You end up getting told off for ringing. And when you don't ring you get the same. Unfortunately this market has gone down hill and a lot of customers have told me. As a buyer, most of the stuff is made in china. I think they need to change management, and get someone who can actually do something with the market...

Yes this market is very large and lots of different stall, however l found it to be simply just sales and not a friendly type place. l went to the Berwick market on the same day and although much smaller with about 300 stalls, it was a lot nicer and it had a Work boot / Ugg boot stall there which was a lot cheaper than the Caribbean market.

With so many stalls carrying fake or cheap knock offs of goods it's a wonder they don't change their name to knock off central.
What surprises me most is that the place has not been shut down by the ACCC or consumer affairs Victoria.

Too much cheap Asian plastic jewelry and toys - would be nice to see them tighten up the rules a bit. Great iconic market though. Very busy!!!

Lots of similar items. overall there is good variety. Strongly recommend walking around and looking at all stores before buying for best $$
