Ballarat Lakeside Farmers' Market (Smart Living Market)

A lively farmers market featuring boutique regional produce: organic vegetables & fruit, wine beer (brewed in Ballarat), olive oil, potatoes, hyroponic tomatoes, zucchini & basil, sour dough bread, fresh coffee, sausage sizzle from the Men's Shed, soap, fresh cut flowers, hand made gnocchi, meat & small goods, gluten-free products, gourmet biscuits, jams & sauces... and much more!  Some stalls are seasonal and thre are often 'pop up ' stalls so you never know exactly what you'll find!

This market is popular among the locals and visitors to Ballarat.  It is set in the scenic surrounds of Lake Wendouree and is nestled amongst the beautiful old trees of the area.  Vintage tram rides and huge children's playground next to the market area add to the popularity with tourists, plus tables and lawns under massive shade trees.  Easy parking and a relaxed, fun atmosphere. 

Shoppers can peruse and sample their way through the myriad of stallholders while enjoying the fine produce and free live music.

This is a dog friendly market and please make sure you bring your own bag or trolley as it is plastic bag free.
