Set in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, one kilometre from the Yarra River, this new farmers' market brings Yarra Valley and Victorian produce to local shoppers.

Wonga Park Farmers Market stallholders offer fresh fruit and veggies, authentic sourdough breads, free range eggs, honey, cheeses, baked treats, preserves, Yarra Valley roasted coffee, lamb, artisan smallgoods, hay, take home meals, food plants, flowers, food to eat on site (BBQ, gozleme, calamari, poffertjes) and more. Set in the beautiful township of Wonga Park, at the 120 year old local primary school, the Wonga Park Farmers' Market provides the opportunity to shop in a relaxed, outdoor environment with a spectacular view.

Discover the story behind your food as well as supporting local farmers and small producers. Buying direct from the grower or the maker gives you a greater connection to the seasons and to how your food is produced. It cuts down on food miles at the same time. So, grab a coffee and some breakfast  - the egg and bacon rolls consist entirely of produce from the WPFM stallholders - sourdough bread, free range eggs, artisan bacon and tomato relish. Gold coin donation at the gate would be appreciated. This will be used to support Wonga Park Primary School projects and programs. Visit the school's Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden while you're there. No dogs please as the market is held in the school grounds. 

Children's activities vary and may include jumping castle, face painting and market games area for small chilidren (noughts and crosses and farm animals)
