The Rutherglen Farmers' Market has over 20 local and regional producers offering an extensive range of goods for sale.

In Rutherglen, we feel that 'fresh is best', so we offer a diverse range of products depending on the season that include Rutherglen-grown tomatoes, fresh vegetables from Albury, fresh stone fruit, berries and oranges from Cobram, fresh cherries from Chiltern and fresh peaches from the banks of the Murray.

Other delicacies available include local extra virgin olive oils, olives, tapenades and dukkahs, local honey, free range eggs, cheeses, freshly baked cakes and cookies, local sauces, relishes, chutneys and pickles, nashi juice, local marmalades, lamb from Rutherglen, Murray Cod, nuts, freshly baked bread, hand-made pasta, vegie and herb seedlings and so much more.  

The Market operates in the Lions Park which provides plenty of shade and amenities for people to enjoy the fun atmosphere of a local market.

The Rutherglen Lions Club also provides a hearty market breakfast and espresso coffee is always available.

The Market provides an environment for farmers and food producers to sell high-quality, farm-origin and associated value-added food products directly to consumers. The emphasis is on freshness, quality and value for money. Buying locally means you can ask how the food is produced and grown and at the same time customer feedback is appreciated by the producer.  Buying locally also reduces the 'food miles' and the stages in the food chain from paddock to plate, whilst putting money back into the local rural economy.
