Red Hill Community Market Red Hill is the 'grand dame' of Victoria's craft markets. It began on the Red Hill Recreation Reserve in 1975 as a truly community event, where local producers and crafts people bartered their goods with each other. The Red Hill Community Market now features 200 to 300 stalls of gourmet produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, quality Australian made art and craft. Bartering no longer takes place, but the atmosphere, colour and excitement of those early years is still there. Your weekend would not be complete until you experience the colour, atmosphere, excitement and great value and quality of the Red Hill Community Market. Parking $4 (provided by Red Hill Lions Club). For the comfort of all patrons, dogs are prohibited in the market. Red Hill Market is run by Craft Markets Australia. Find Craft Markets Australia on Facebook.
