Melbourne Frock Swap -Indoor Second Hand Fashion Market Whilst called a Frock Swap - the Melbourne Frock Swap is actually just a good old fashioned rummage market, with a difference! Stallholders sell only women's clothing and accessories and you'll find most things hanging on racks or on tables - so no rummaging around on the ground! The market is completely indoors and undercover. With over 70 clothing stalls at each market, it's good to know there's coffee and food vans on site, as it's easy to loose an entire day looking for bargains. We pride ourselves on catering to all shapes and sizes, and have plenty of change rooms on site so you can make sure everything fits perfectly. The market also has a few pamper stalls at each event, to help make it a real girls day out.. Held at the historic Seaworks building in Williamstown, you'll find a maritime museum acessible from the market; and a bar, The Pirates Tavern, out the back. There's also a pier behind the building offering great views of Melbourne and the bay as well as serving as home base for the iconic Sea Shepherd ships when they're in town. There's a $2 entry fee (kids and men are free), and the venue is completely pram and wheelchair friendly. A five minute stroll to the Williamstown waterfront cafe precinct or to the Williamstown Beach train station; you'll find it easy to use public transport or drive, with metered parking out the front and all day free parking in surrounding streets. There's three markets a year, with the 2015 dates being Sunday 15 March, Sunday 14 June and Sunday 20 September. Doors open at 10am and close at 4pm. So come along and grab some bargains, and maybe book a stall yourself! Find Melbourne Frock Swap on Facebook.
