The addition of this market to our other great local fresh produce markets in the Ballarat area mean that on any given Saturday you guys can ‘Go to market.’ and get the best of our region’s produce, freshly picked, bottle and baked, bursting with nutrients, not preservatives. We offer a fantastic range of Ballarat’s best local produce, come along and meet the people of our region who grow and create what they sell.

During the winter months the Jiggety Jig is held in the cattle pavilion at the Ballarat Showgrounds so you will are guaranteed a pleasant market experience in any weather. 

Regular stallholders include sourdough bread, ethical meats, fresh chicken and duck eggs, fresh churned butter, fresh locally grown vegetables, fruits, preserves, wine, olives, mushrooms, muesli, herbs, truffles, coffee, and much more. Also a great selection of gourmet treats including fudge and biscuits. The perfect stop on a grocery run to fill up with fresh local first before stopping past a supermarket.
