Held in the grounds of Mount Alexander College at 175 Mt Alexander Road, Flemington, the market is easily accessible by major roads, public transport and bicycle, with ample parking and an amiable atmosphere. The market is enthusiastically supported by the school community. The Flemington Farmers Market was established in 2010 as the Melbourne Showgrounds Farmers Market by the Victorian Farmers?Äô Market Association and the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria as an initiative of the two organisations to help ensure the good health of local agriculture and to provide a viable alternative for Melbourne?Äôs population to buy fresh farm produce direct from the farmers and producers.

Dogs are most welcome to come and join us at the Flemington Farmers Market but they must be on a lead at ALL TIMES. Owners take full responsibility of their dogs during their visit and MUST ensure they behavior appropriately in public and please clean up after them should they mess in the grounds. We want the market to be visited by all including our four legged friends.
