  • 5 Stars.

Discover how you can adopt a more environmentally sustainable approach to your life, by joining us on Saturday 25th March, from 10am to 4pm at Red Earth Park and Mooroolbark Community Centre.

In 2017, Celebrate Mooroolbark is making a conscious effort to produce a more environmentally sustainable community festival. We're aiming to use less energy and reduce waste, so to launch these efforts of our festival production in 2017 we've taken on a green theme!

It’s Easy Being Green

The day begins with a street parade on Brice Avenue at 10am. There are 2 stages of live music, over 100 stalls including a market, 2 food & drink hubs, local community information and a local business hub. There'll be rides, jumping castles and animal farm and drumming workshops as well as many free activities around the grounds. Inside the Community Centre you'll be able to try out or preview some of their programs on offer, Gymbaroo will have a free toddler playground set up and everyone can have a go in the Greenhat workshop. There'll also be an amazing Meccano display and play space!

As Mooroolbark’s premier community festival, the event has become a major attraction on the Yarra Ranges calendar and involves a large number of schools, community groups, businesses and other organisations from Mooroolbark and surrounds. It offers a low-cost, relaxing and fun, family day out which caters for all ages.
