A traditional weekend market with a difference.

The market commenced in November 2010 and is growing steadily.

There is a good number of stall holders selling a large variety of items.  You'll find a large mix of hot foods and refreshements, fruit and vegies, plumbing, jewellery, toys, tools, electrical goods, smoke accessories, flowers, clothes, computer parts, phones and accessories, books, antiques, collectors items, home furnishings, crafts, plants and second hand items.
 
The two jumping castles are getting a lot of use and are the source of great enjoyment for children that visit the market.  At this stage jumping castle rides are free!

Brimbank Community Market is a privately owned Australian company aiming to develop the market site into an iconic attraction, a valuable addition to the western suburbs and the city of Brimbank.

The stalls are an attraction in their own right and provide a great atmosphere where patrons will find products and services only found at weekend markets.

The market will also have a huge area devoted to entertainment, with a circus, amusements, children's play area, a traditional sumo wrestling ring and other entertainment.

The market's main objective is to provide an environment where the whole family will find something to enjoy.  The entertainment and community involvement will be varied and ongoing and it is hoped that each time you visit the market you will find something new and exciting.  Some of the activities currently being planned include:

• Basket Ball, Football and soccer shoot outs.
• Tug of war
• Cooking competitions
• Traditional folk dancing
• Musical Entertainment

The market also aims to provide employment and business opportunities for traders and their employees, sub-contractors and employees directly employed by the market. The operation of the market will also promote economic activity for local business and community groups. The market also provides excellent sponsorship and advertising opportunities for businesses that need exposure of their products and services to large crowds.
 
The market welcomes community groups, and the general public to participate in the events and competitions organised.
